Need to Lose Weight? Fill Your Freezer With Delicious and Satisfying Portion-Control Diet Meals...

Save Money - Eat Better - and Lose Weight, Too, With the Convenience of Once-A-Month Cooking.

From: Jonni Good

Dear friend,

Now you can join thousands of people who have discovered an easy way to create their own delicious diet meals, with the convenience and cost-savings of once-a-month cooking and the same portion-control simplicity of brand-name frozen diet meals from the store.

Plus, your own diet meals will taste better and be more nutritious and satisfying - because you made them yourself.

Yes, you can make your own convenient microwaveable diet meals.

  • You save money by making your own frozen meals;
  • You fill your meals with just the right amount of delicious home-cooked recipes, for convenient and effective portion control.
  • You never feel "picked on" because your portions are always just the right size to be satisfying;
  • You aren't plagued by food cravings and the desire to overeat - even on high-stress days - because you leave out the foods that cause cravings, and you put in the wholesome foods that help you control your appetite;
  • And it all comes with the convenience and cost-savings of once-a-week or once-a-month cooking.

You can learn how easy it is to cook your own portion-controlled diet meals in an ebook I wrote called The Easy-Does-It Diet.

What's the "secret" of this easy diet?

There are actually two secrets, and they're both equally important.

Secret #1. It's an easy way to control your portion sizes.

Eating the right amount of food at every meal can be difficult - that's why so many companies have come up with ways to make it easier for us, with:

  • Portion control plates
  • One-bowl diet books
  • Calorie charts and calculators
  • "Point" charts
  • Support groups and weigh-in meetings
  • And those frozen diet meals that take up half of the freezer shelf at the supermarket.

They all work - if you stay focused, if you never allow yourself to serve yourself a little extra or take a second helping, if you keep going to the meetings, and you keep buying those frozen diet meals...

But with the Easy-Does-It diet you just put your "responsible, healthy self" in charge of portion control for two or three hours on the weekend - either once a week or once a month.

When you take your home-cooked meals out of the freezer and warm them up in the microwave the portioning has already been done for you - just like those frozen diet meals from the store (except that your home-cooked meals taste better, of course).

Secret #2 - you won't crave fattening snacks, and you won't need to overeat.

Food cravings can sabotage any diet, no matter how good it is or how motivated you are to stick with it.

That's why this diet leaves out all the foods that are known to cause food cravings - and it includes the healthy foods that prevent food cravings.

I even include a special recipe for a fast and delicious breakfast shake that will help control your appetite all morning.

In a nutshell, this system combines easy portion control with an easy way to prevent the desire to overeat. And all with the convenience and cost-savings of once-a-month cooking!

Here's how it works:

1. You spend a few hours this weekend filling your freezer with individual-sized frozen meals that you make yourself, using simple portion control guidelines.

2. You grab one of the meals in the morning and take it to work. Pop it in the microwave for about 5 minutes, and then sit down to a good, home-cooked meal.

3. And if you want you can also eat one of your meals for dinner - no last-minute after-work shopping, no pots and pans to clean up - just a nice meal that has just the right amount of food to fill you up - without giving you any extra calories.

4. For variety you can have a full-meal salad for lunch instead of a hot meal (ideas are included in the book) or have a fruit smoothie for breakfast made with wholesome ingredients that help you control your desire for fattening snacks all morning.

How much can you save?

When I first started using this system I did an experiment to see if the home-made meals would cost less than portion-controlled meals from the store.

I cooked an entire freezer-full of healthy Easy-Does-It frozen meals in just a few hours, added up the costs for all the ingredients, and then compared them to the cost of comparable frozen meals from the supermarket.

Here’s what the home-made meals cost, along with the cost of similar commercial meals:

Stouffer’s Lean Cuisine® Honey Roasted Pork................................$3.49
Easy-Does-It Honey Roasted Pork..............................$1.02

Save $2.47 on every meal.

Healthy Choice® Sweet and Sour Chicken..............................$2.99
Easy-Does-It Sweet and Sour Chicken............................$1.21

Save $1.78 on every meal.

Healthy Choice® Country Herb Chicken.............................$2.99
Easy-Does-It Country Herb Chicken...........................$1.11

Save $1.88 on every meal.

Stouffer’s Lean Cuisine® Chicken & Vegetables.......................$3.49
Easy-Does-It Chicken & Vegetables.....................$1.02

Save $2.47 on every meal.

I did this experiment several years ago, before food prices started to go up. As food costs continue to rise, you will save even more by cooking your own diet meals.

Why does it cost less?

  • You buy the cost-saving bulk packages of meat and other foods, even if you aren't cooking for a large family.
  • You don't pay a penny for packaging you have to throw away.
  • And you don't pay extra to cover the advertising costs of brand-name diet meals.

So, how much does it cost to fill your freezer with your own frozen meals?

Using only four recipes, and spending only about 2 ½ hours total, I filled my freezer with 27 meals, (enough for 5 ½ weeks-worth of lunches at the office!) for only $29.22.

The same number of brand-name meals would have cost $88.23!

And if you compare the cost of one of your own home-cooked meals with the cost of eating lunch out every day - well, you get the picture.

Are you concerned about added chemicals and preservatives in your food?

I sure am, so I looked at the ingredient list on the side of a store-bought diet meal.

Here's what's on the ingredients list for Stouffer’s Lean Cuisine® Honey Roasted Pork with Roasted Gold Potatoes:

Roasted potatoes, water, seasoned cooked pork product (pork, water, coating), dehydrated honey (sugar, honey), maltodextrin, partially hydrogenated cottonseed and soybean oil, modified food starch, dehydrated garlic, salt, fructose, corn syrup solids, dehydrated flavor (nonfat dry milk, gum Arabic), wheat soybeans, why protein concentrate, salt, flavor (canola oil, natural flavors), onion juice, potassium chloride, dextrose, honey flavor (honey, ethyl alcohol, water, propylene glycol, flavor), lemon juice powder (maltodextrin, lemon juice concentrate, lemon oil, natural flavorings), carrots, red peppers, honey, soy sauce (water, wheat, soybeans, salt, lactic acid), modified cornstarch, butter, roasted garlic concentrate (garlic, salt, natural flavoring, sesame oil, canola oil and citric acid), onions, bleached enriched wheat flour (wheat flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), garlic puree, salt, flavoring (maltodextrin, yeast extract, cultured whey, flavor, and salt), spices, potassium chloride, caramel coloring, erythorbic acid, sugar, carrageenan with dextrose.

Wow… I can't even pronounce some of that stuff.

What's in an Easy-Does-It meal that you make yourself?

Here’s the ingredients list for cooking your own honey-roasted pork diet meal, using the national labeling standard that requires the major ingredients to be listed first:

broccoli
potatoes
pork
honey
soy sauce
prepared mustard.

That sounds a little healthier, doesn’t it?

Can you change the recipes and portions to fit your own personal needs?

Yes.

The recipes in the ebook don't include specific calories per serving because you choose the portion sizes to fit your own personal needs. To customize the portion sizes for your own activity level, just follow my simple guidelines for the first few times, and then watch what happens when you get on the scale.

After just a few weeks, you'll know exactly how much of each entree to put in each individual-sized container.

You may discover that you need bigger portions, or smaller ones - after all, everyone is different. We all have different activity levels and different calorie needs. With this system, it's easy to customize your meals so they're perfect for you, without calorie charts or "points."

Can you adapt your own favorite recipes to the Easy-Does-It system?

Yes.

There are 30 delicious recipes in the ebook to get you started. But once you know how the system works you can use the guidelines in the ebook to create delicious portion-controlled meals with your own favorite recipes.

That way there's always a ready-to-eat meal waiting for you in the freezer that contains the food you know you love - with just the right amount of spices and herbs to please your taste buds, and just the right amount of calories to help you lose weight.

Will the system work if your doctor ordered special foods for your medical condition?

Yes.

If you have a medical condition, like diabetes, many of the recipes in the ebook will work just fine (but be sure to ask your doctor).

Some of the recipes might need to be altered a bit, by substituting some of the ingredients to fit your special diet.

And you can also adapt the recipes from any cookbook your doctor recommends.

That way, you get all the right foods for your medical condition, in just the right portion sizes for your activity level - with the cost-savings and convenience of once-a-month cooking.

Meet some of the people who make their own Easy-Does-It diet meals:

People like Marge and Hank from Portland, Maine. As they neared retirement, Marge wanted them to diet together, but Hank wouldn't go for it. So she started using the Easy-Does-It plan just for herself.

  • But when she made herself a fruit smoothie for breakfast, she made him one too, and he loved it.
  • She let him know that if he ever needed a hot meal when she was away from home, he could grab one of her pre-portioned meals from the freezer.
  • And when she had a whole-meal salad for lunch, she made enough to share.

Hank was proud of her for losing some of her extra pounds. But he was surprised to discover that he was feeling better - fewer aches and pains, and more energy.

He stepped on the scale and realized that he was starting to lose weight, too.

He now realized that some of the things he'd always blamed on "getting old" were really the natural result of carrying around too much weight.

They still use the system, even though they've brought their weight down to a healthy level. They like the extra time it gives them for gardening and other hobbies.

Bonnie, from Spokane, Washington, started to use the system after the birth of her first baby. She tried hard to get back to her pre-pregnancy weight, but it was hard to stay focused on eating right when she was so busy with the new baby.

And she couldn't eat the brand-name frozen diet meals because she was breastfeeding, and didn't want to fill her body with all those chemicals.

Then she remembered her mother successfully using home-made frozen meals to lose weight in the past, so she did a search on the Internet and downloaded the ebook. Once she started eating right at every meal her extra pounds began to disappear.

As her baby grew into a super-active toddler, Bonnie really appreciated the pre-made meals sitting in her freezer, waiting for her whenever she had a few spare minutes to sit down to eat. She also appreciated the cost savings, since she gave up her job in order to stay home with the baby.

But one of the greatest benefits was completely unexpected. Her husband's job is stressful, and he can't always come home at the same time every night. And that often meant that he came home to cold left-overs.

But now, every time Bonnie makes up a new batch of freezer meals for herself, she makes a few especially for her husband, with the larger portions he needs. She sticks a blue label on the lids so he knows which ones are his.

And that means there's always a hot meal waiting for him when he comes home, no matter how late he has to stay at the office.

Susan was worried about her mother-in-law's health. "Mom" still lives on her own, but it was getting harder and harder for her to eat as well as she should, especially since her doctor had ordered a special diet for her diabetes.

Susan now makes a weekly visit with her mother-in-law every Saturday, and together they cook up enough personally-customized Easy-Does-It meals to last Mom for the rest of the week.

Mom looks forward to the visits, of course - and she loves the convenience of the meals waiting for her in the freezer. She no longer skips meals, she doesn't binge on packaged cookies and chips, and she eats all the healthy foods her doctor ordered.

What do you need to get started on this easy diet?

You’ll need to buy some inexpensive plastic containers - you can find them in any supermarket and they're often on sale. You only have to buy them once, because they're re-usable.

You’ll also need to have access to a microwave so you can heat up your meals when you're ready to eat.

And you'll need a few hours every month when you’ll create your own delicious pre-portioned frozen meals.

That's all there is to it.
